In the first quarter of 2026, Valamar opened Pical Resort 5*, an investment worth more than EUR 200 million and the largest tourism investment project in Croatia. Pical represents a key milestone in delivering on the Valamar’s business development strategy and further strengthens the transformation of the portfolio towards premium and year-round tourism.
In February 2026, Jadran Heritage Hotel 5* was also opened in Poreč, a boutique hotel with 12 designer rooms and the restaurant JAZ by Ana Roš, thereby completing investments aimed at positioning Poreč as a premium gourmet destination.
In the first quarter, revenues rose by 13.8% compared to the same period in 2025, reaching EUR 19.9 million, supported by a successful contribution from the winter season in Austria, earlier opening of part of the portfolio and the newly opened Pical hotel. Valamar records stable booking trends for the season despite uncertainties in the global environment.
Shareholders have approved a dividend payout of EUR 0.27 per share, scheduled for 7 May 2026, resulting in a dividend yield of 4.2% for 2025.
For the ninth consecutive year, Valamar has been named the most desirable employer in tourism and hospitality in Croatia and continues to invest in its employees. In the area of sustainability, Valamar has strengthened its position as a leader in sustainable tourism with the International Sustainability Award 2026 and holds a gold EcoVadis medal, ranking among the top 5% of companies globally according to sustainability performance indicators.
